Zoya Delight Collection - Is it a Dupe?

I was asked a couple times yesterday if the Zoya Delight shades were similar to shades from previous collections, so I thought I'd do a comparison post. I have one older shade to compare each Delight shade to. For each set of picures I have the Delight shade on my pointer and ring finger, while I have the older shade on my middle and pinky finger.

#NailGlossip/Sunny's Body Products Prize Box

Several weeks ago I joined in a chat about nail polish on Twitter. Several of the girls I follow were Tweeting with #NailGlossip so it started coming up on my feed and I was interested, so I wanted to check it out. I will link a post from All Lacquered Up with details about the #NailGlossip chats. Each time they have a chat there is a prize sponsored by a different nail polish or nail care company. The week I joined in the prizes were being sponsored by Sunny's Body Products. I have been using the products for a few weeks and I want to tell you about them!

Zoya Julie and KBShimmer Daisy About You

Today I was on the Zoya Facebook page and someone mentioned Julie, a pretty, light lavender polish with silver shimmer from the 2013 Spring Lovely collection. I decided to use Julie in my manicure today. I also used KBShimmer Daisy About You as an accent.

Today I have three more beautiful Shooting Star polishes with you. DIFFERENT dimension releases Shooting Star polishes on Friday nights. It isn't every Friday night, but I would say it is at least a couple times a month. There were three polishes in this Shooting Star release. Zoya Naturel Satin Collection Swatches and Review

*Press Sample*

Today I have the Zoya Naturel Satin Collection to swatch for you! I am so excited for this collection. I love the Zoya Matte Velvet polishes so I was really interested to see if these had a similar formula. Zoya describes these polishes as "transition" colors on their website, which I think is perfect. The Naturel Satin polishes are a great way to transition from Winter to Spring nail colors. They all feature Zoya's new "Satin" finish which is described as a hybrid of matte and glossy polishes and is not intended to be worn with a top coat. I thought some of you might wonder what they would look like with top coat, so the first two pictures in each set do not have top coat but the third picture does. Check out what I think of all six colors after the jump!

Emily de Molly Oceanic Forces and Turbulence

Today I have a couple of polishes that I have had for such a long time but have never tried them out. I'm really trying to get better at that! I have so many I've never used and I need to get to them. But today I have two Emily de Molly polishes to show you.

OPI Fifty Shades of Grey Collection Picks

Today I have my picks from the OPI Fifty Shades of Grey collection. There are six polishes total in the collection, and I have two to show you. The other four polishes were grey creme polishes in different shades, and I wasn't super impressed with them so I didn't pick them up. The two I have are Romantically Involved and Shine For Me.

January Julep Maven It Girl Box - Swatched!

I have swatches of my January Julep Maven It Girl box polishes plus my add ons to show you today. I received three polishes in my box, ordered one add on and also received a free metamorphic top coat in my It Girl box this month. You can see my post about my first look at the box here.

The first polishes I have to show you are Margit, a taupe colored polish with a rosey shimmer to it, and Luna, a pale blue duochrome polish with shards of iridescent glitter in it. I really like Margit. I think it's a perfect Spring color and the pink shimmer is so pretty with the taupe colored polish. This is one coat of Margit on my pointer and pinky fingers. I really thought I was going to love Luna, but unfortunately I don't. Luna has a thick formula, and it just isn't as pretty on the nail as it is in the bottle. Maybe I was too excited about it, I don't know. It just fell flat for me once I had it on. This is two coats of Luna on my middle and ring fingers. Both colors are topped with HK Girl.

Up next is Shelly, a mint creme polish. This color is really nice. The formula is good, this is two smooth coats with one coat of HK Girl. My pictures make this one look a little more blue than it is in person. It definitely leans more towards a mint green in real life.

The last combination I have to show you are Janae, a charcoal grey polish, and Tyra, the metamorphic top coat I received.  This is two coats of Janae on all of my nails with one coat of Tyra on my middle and ring finger. Everything is topped off with HK Girl. I love this combination. Tyra makes such a difference over Janae. It gives it almost a magenta color.

I'd love to hear which of these polishes or looks is your favorite! Let me know in the comments below.

OPI Pink of Hearts 2014 Set

Every year OPI comes out with a set in September/October for Breast Cancer Awareness. The set for 2014 is called Pink of Hearts. It contains two polishes and a pink glitter nail file. I found this set at TJ Maxx for $7.99, which I thought was a great deal for two OPI polishes.

The first polish in the set is Mod About You. This is not a new release. This shade is available online and in stores currently. It is a baby pink creme color. I had some difficulty with the formula of this polish. It was streaky on the first coat. Most of the streaks evened out on the second coat and doing a third coat would've made the polish too thick on my nail. It wasn't my favorite OPI I've worked with. I think if I try it again, I would make the coats of polish thinner so that I could do three coats and see if that evened everything out. Reviews I've seen online of this polish are typically good, so perhaps it was just a user issue - not an issue with the polish. This is two coats of Mod About You on my pointer and pinky finger with one coat of HK Girl.

The second polish in this set is The Power of Pink. The Power of Pink is a limited edition shade. It is a pink crelly base with dark pink, light pink and white hex glitter and micro glitter. You can use this shade on its own or over the top of Mod About you. I chose to use it on its own. I really like this one. It has a good formula. The base color is sheer enough that the glitter really shows through, while still having good coverage in three thin coats. You could do two coats of this, but I like the depth I got with three coats. The Power of Pink is on my middle and ring fingers with one coat of HK Girl.

I definitely think this set is worth the $7.99 I paid for it. I really like The Power of Pink and Mod About You is ok. I will have to work with that one and see if I can get it to work better for me. The Pink of Hearts set is available on Amazon, Ebay and don't forget to check stores in your area like TJ Maxx, sometimes they have great nail polish finds there. What do you think of this set? I'd love to hear in the comments below!

Glisten & Glow/Young Wild and Polished Collab

Today I have a polish duo I am really excited about. You already know I am a huge fan of Glisten & Glow and their HK Girl top coat, but you probably don't know that I'm also a huge fan of Nicole over at Young Wild and Polished on YouTube. I have several nail/beauty channels I subscribe to on YouTube and Nicole's channel is one of them. She is really funny, informative and makes great videos! I will link Young Wild and Polished here so you can check her out. I was super excited when Nicole posted a video of the polishes that she created with Glisten & Glow. She does have a discount code for her subscribers in that video.

Wet N Wild - Wild Shine

Today I have two new Wet N Wild - Wild Shine polishes to show you. I've seen a little bit about these polishes online, so when I saw them in person, I thought I'd pick a couple up. I bought these at Shopko for 69 cents. That's right. 69 cents. I couldn't believe it. I've never purchased nail polish at such an inexpensive price.

Julep Maven January It Girl Box

I have my Julep Maven January Box to show you today. I chose the It Girl box this month (which I typically do, because it is normally three polishes instead of other products.) If you don't know what Julep Maven is, it is a monthly subscription box that has nail polish or other beauty products in it. You are able to choose what box is sent to you every month. It is $24.99 per month ($19.99 if you prepay three months together) and you can skip any month you aren't interested in the polishes or if for whatever reason you don't want the box that month.

Zoya Dot and Monet

Today I have two polishes from the Awaken collection from Zoya. This collection is from Spring of 2014. I thought since Zoya is releasing their new Spring collections soon, I'd use a couple of the ones from last year and show you how pretty they are! The Awaken collection is available here.

Jamberry Nail Lacquer

Today I have a Jamberry Nail Lacquer to show you. If you're not familiar with Jamberry, they are a company that specializes in nail wraps but they also carry nail lacquer. I have tried the wraps and I really like them. I think they're perfect if you want your nails to look good for several weeks and are pretty easy to put on. I like to use them for accent nails because they have designs that I wouldn't be able to create myself. I don't use them too often though because I switch my nail polish almost every day. My sister sells Jamberry and had one of the nail lacquers so I asked her if I could borrow it to do a little review of it. The color I have to show you today is called Red Currant.

*Press Release* Zoya Delight Spring 2015 Collection

*Press Release*

There is another beautiful Spring Collection coming from Zoya this Spring! Here is what Zoya has to say about it!

Zoya Delight

China Glaze Road Trip 2015 Collection Part 1

Today I have six of the shades from the China Glaze Road Trip 2015 collection. I should have the other six up in the next few days. I bought these polishes on head2toebeauty.com. I will link the collection here. If you order from head2toe, you will notice that the polishes are pretty inexpensive but the shipping is a little crazy. (I think the shipping for all 12 polishes was about $12.50, but they did come the day after I ordered them via UPS.) These were $3.25 per polish, which is much cheaper than I could find them for at Sally's or Ulta. Even with the shipping, the per polish price is less than $4.25.

Formula X Starfish

I have a new-to-me brand of polish to show you today! I had a reader suggest the Formula X polishes by Sephora. I had never tried them out before, and I was at a mall with a Sephora in it, so I thought I would check them out. First of all, the selection is huge! I only got two (but I'm only trying out one today) but there were so many more that looked amazing. There were a lot of different finishes and colors. The polish I have to show you today is called Starfish and it is from the new Sea Glass collection.

They will be available tonight at 9pm EST until they are gone. There are less than 30 bottles of each, so if you are interested, I would try to get on to the website as close to 9pm EST as you can.
