Zoya Julie and KBShimmer Daisy About You

Today I was on the Zoya Facebook page and someone mentioned Julie, a pretty, light lavender polish with silver shimmer from the 2013 Spring Lovely collection. I decided to use Julie in my manicure today. I also used KBShimmer Daisy About You as an accent.

Zoya Julie is such a pretty light purple shade. The silver shimmer in the bottle does translate onto the nail, which is great. I used two coats of Julie with one coat of HK Girl. Julie has a good formula. It is a tiny bit thin, so I had to be careful not to get too much polish on my brush, but it was very manageable. Julie is not currently available on the Zoya web page, but she may be available on Amazon or Ebay. Otherwise, you can really use any light purple polish to get a similar look.

KBShimmer Daisy About You is described by KBShimmer as "A pale green crelly, this spring polish features neon green hex glitters swimming among purple and lavender hexes and scattering of lavender daisy glitters." I love the formula on these types of polishes by KBShimmer. They are so great to work with. This is three thin coats of Daisy About You with one coat of HK Girl. Daisy About You is available from KBShimmer here.

I think these polishes compliment each other very well. I am just so into these Spring colors lately! Not great timing considering the weather. If you are in the area getting hit with the big snowstorm, I hope you are keeping safe and warm!

I'd love to hear what you think of this combination in the comments below! Are you into Spring colors already or are you sticking to more of the Winter palate?
