Today I have the Zoya Delight Spring 2015 collection to show you! I was super excited to get these because I am so looking forward to Spring and colors like the ones in this collection. There are six polishes in Delight, three creme formulas and three with a turquoise flash. The Delight collection will be available soon here.
L-R: Lillian, Tiana, Eden |
L-R: Leslie, Rayne, Daisy |
I'm going to start with the creme finish polishes first. Lillian is described as "a faded aquamarine with a glossy creme finish." I really like this light blue shade. I used three coats of polish for all of these swatches and did not use a top coat so that you can see how the polish actually dries. All of them dried glossy for me. The formula on the creme polishes was thicker than the ones with shimmer. None of the polishes were too thick or thin for me or difficult to work with. ETA: I used these polishes again and I was able to get them opaque in two thicker coats versus three thin coats.
Tiana is described as "a pistachio gelato green in a glossy cream finish." When I look at the name and color of this polish, it makes me think of the Disney movie The Princess and the Frog. This is a really nice light green polish.
Eden is described by Zoya as "a classic spring flower pink in a glossy cream finish." I agree with their description. It is perfect for Spring. I love the brightness of this polish.
Now for the polishes with the shimmer! First up is Leslie. It is described as "a soft spring lavender metallic with an energizing turquoise flash." I really like these three polishes. I think the turquoise flash is really unique compared to the other polishes in my collection. I tried to capture the shimmer, but it was tough. I added an extra picture of the bottles to show you the shimmer the best I could. The shimmer translates on to the nail so much more than the pictures show you.
Daisy is described as "a refreshing lemon merengue yellow metallic with an energizing turquoise metallic flash." This is a great shade of yellow. It is bright and perfect for Spring. Also, the turquoise flash in this one just gives it something special. This is definitely not your average yellow polish!
The last polish I have to show you is my favorite out of the Delight collection. This is Rayne. It is described as "a dewy, spring blue metallic with an energizing turquoise metallic flash." This polish is so stunning. It is a perfect blue with that same turquoise shimmer in it. The shimmer shows up the best in this polish in my opinion.
I think this collection has some great polishes for Spring. I think the stand out polishes are definitely the ones with the shimmer in them. I wish the other three shades had it as well! I think I am going to do another post to compare the creme shades with other Zoya shades I already have in my collection. Please let me know if there are any comparisons you'd like to see and I'll see if I have them in my collection to show you. What do you think of this collection? Are there any you plan on picking up? I'd love to hear in the comments below!

ReplyDeleteThank you! I agree, they come out with the best Spring colors!
DeleteGreat swatches! I think I prefer the cremes.
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteThese are all so pretty! Perfect for spring.
ReplyDeleteThank you! I agree, they look like Spring in a bottle!
DeleteThese are all gorgeous! Just wondering how Tiana compares to Neely? I'm surprised the creams needed 3 coats, Zoya makes so many great 1 & 2 coaters!!
ReplyDeleteI was suprised that I needed three coats too. Not sure if it's because they are lighter shades? I really like all of the colors though! I will check out Neely and compare them in a post for tomorrow. :0)
DeleteThank you Jenny, I appreciate it!! If the colors are really gorgeous & unique than 3 coats are never a deal breaker for me!! I just put Zoya's Blu on today & it always blows me away that it's a 1-coater, that's almost unheard of for a light pastel shade!! I think the blue shimmer is my favorite from this collection too!!:)
DeleteI have several polishes to compare with this commection. It will be my first post like thay. Thanks for the suggestion! :0)
DeleteGreat swatches! I'm meh about the cremes, but those shimmers caught my eye!
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteThe creme finished ones are basically a must have for me - I adore creme pastels for this time of year ^_^ Great swatches!!
ReplyDeleteI love pastels too this time of year. Such a nice change from the dark Winter colors! Thank you!
DeleteI feel like I need to go on an Easter egg hunt now, haha. Nice to see spring colors popping up. I didn't think i'd like the polishes with the turquoise flash, but they actually add a nice element to the polish.
ReplyDeleteThey do remind me of Easter colors! I'll have to remember to use them for an Easter manicure. :0)
DeleteI concur, the shimmers are where it's at in this collection.
ReplyDeleteI don't have any other polishes with a shimmer this color, so these are a nice addition to my collection! :0)
DeleteLove your swatches, these Zoay's are so perfect for the Spring. I wish I had the time to dive right into my package already. I can't wait.
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteThese are so very pretty! I don't know if I need them though, I have a lot of similar colors in my collection.
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean. I was actually surprised that they weren't as similar as I thought to the colors I already owned. :0)
DeleteI love the shimmer but do like Lillian and Tiana too. Seafoam and mint all the polishes!
ReplyDeleteYes! I love those color polishes as well. :0)
DeleteThe cremes are lovely, but I have a serious case of grabby hands with those shimmers. I'mma need all three. For sure.
ReplyDeleteThey are amazing. The shimmer is so much better in person!
