Julep Kirti & Cats

I have a Halloween manicure on my nails today.  I used Julep Kirti which they describe as a persimmon iridescent shimmer.  This color isn't quite as orange as I thought it would be.  It has more of a pink undertone to it.  It does have a really pretty tangerine shimmer running throughout it.

Kirti is from Julep's August Wanderlust collection.  This collection is no longer available but you could use any orange to do a look like this. (Wait! This collection was restocked! Kirti is available here.) I used two coats of Kirti on all of my nails. This polish is a little more sheer than I would normally like my polish to be.  I can still see my nail line under two coats of this polish.

For my accent nail I used a cat decal that I received in my October Julep Maven Box.  I think the cat is cute, especially for Halloween.  I used one coat of HK Girl top coat to smooth everything out.  I was surprised that I couldn't feel the edges of the decal after using the top coat.

You can really see the shimmer in this polish in the above picture. You can also see near the cuticle where this polish has more of that pinkish tone.  It is a pretty color and I like the way this turned out. I'm excited to do more Halloween and seasonal manicures.  Let me know what you'd like to see!
