To get this look I used two coats of Luck & Leprechauns on my middle and ring fingers. Luck & Leprechauns is a full coverage green and gold holographic microglitter with multichrome flakies and a bit of a magenta shimmer in it. Gorgeous and perfect for today. The formula was easy to work with and not too thick or thin. I think Missi from DD comes up with some fantastic glitter polishes. Luck & Leprechauns is available here.
On the rest of my fingers I used an eye shadow sponge applicator to sponge a gradient using Treemendous (light green) and Note to Elf (dark green). These are both from the DIFFERENT dimension Holiday collection and are beautiful holographic polishes. Treemendous also has green flakies in it. Note to Elf is sold out, but you can find Tremendous here. I only had to go over the sponging once and I did not use a base color before sponging. Using the eye shadow applicator gave me better control and less clean up than using a make up sponge. Also, since my nail beds are smaller, it was easier for me to get the polish where I wanted it to go, instead of all over my finger. :0)
A thumb picture two days in a row? Woah. ;0) |
I like how these three polishes work together. I've never had a problem with the formula of any DIFFERENT dimension polish I've purchased. I'd love to hear what you think of this look. Let me know in the comments below!
