Virago Varnish Hollywood Glamour Collection Picks

Today I have a new-to-me Indie brand to share with you. I picked up my first Virago Varnish polishes recently. She recently launched a new collection called Hollywood Glamour and these are my picks from that collection! Two of the polishes I purchased and one was sent to me (I'll explain.)

The two that I bought are Elegance and Allure. Elegance is a plum colored metallic finish polish and Allure is a very fine silver holographic micro glitter in a clear base. Although Elegance is a metallic finish polish, I didn't experience any brush stroke issues that can sometimes come with that finish. It is opaque in two coats and dries slightly dull, so I chose to top coat it. In the pictures you can see it's natural finish on my pinky finger. Now, if you are a glitter lover like I am, Allure is a must buy. It is the most fantastic silver micro glitter I have ever used. The glitter is so fine that it spreads out just like a creme polish. It is stunning! If you like Glistening Snow from China Glaze, you have to get this one. It's like Glistening Snow, but 10x better!

When I received my order, Elegance was too thick for me to be able to use. I tried thinner but it just didn't work. I emailed Adrienne (the maker of Virago Varnish) and she immediately got back to me. She said she would send out a replacement polish right away, and she wasn't kidding. I got a shipping email within an hour of my initial email. When I received the package not only was there a replacement bottle of Elegance - there was also a bottle of Radiance and a hand written note from Adrienne. Yesterday she sent me an email to make sure that the replacement bottle was okay, which it was. I am so impressed with her service! I can't tell you how much it means to me that she gave prompt, courteous service. I will definitely be ordering from Virago Varnish again. Now, on to Radiance!

Radiance is a gorgeous holographic micro glitter in a teal base. It is just amazing! This polish is going to be gifted to presenters and award nominees at the MTV Movie Awards. How cool is that? I don't know why I didn't pick this up when I bought the other polishes. It is right up my alley. My husband was playing a video game when I put this on and I made him stop and look at my nails because I love it so much! He thought it was a great color too. :0) This is two coats with top coat. 

I love these polishes, especially the glitters. They are some of the most stunning glitter polishes I've ever worn and the formulas are fantastic.
