This past weekend we had my sister's batchelorette party and I thought these nails were perfect for it. Her wedding colors are red, coral and tan and I wanted to coordinate my nail look with one of the colors. I chose to work with coral. The polish I used was Zoya Thandie. Thandie is a creme formula polish that is opaque in two coats. For the nails with the decals, I used two coats of Zoya Purity which is a really nice white polish. I used ellagee Glass topcoat to make the dry time faster before applying the decals.
When I got these decals with my Nailed Kit in March, I knew that they would be perfect for a look like this. I used two different drink decals on my middle and ring finger. They are super easy to apply - just like a temporary tattoo. After applying them I used a coat of China Glaze Fairy Dust because you always need sparkle for a party, right? Then I sealed everything with another coat of ellagee Glass.
I got quite a few compliments on these nails and I really like how they turned out. I love the simplicity of decals. I would never be able to hand paint something like this on my nails, so this is a great option for me and others that are not super nail art savvy. I'd love to hear from you what you think of this look. Let me know in the comments below!
Thank you!
