piCture pOlish Winter and Saphira

Hello again!! I'm happy to be back with a new to me brand to share with you today! I have two polishes from piCture pOlish's newest release - Winter and Saphira.

Winter is best described as "a light charcoal grey scattered holo in a jelly base with tiny silver and gold flakes." This is opaque in two coats. The name Winter suits this polish so well. It reminds me of a snowy grey sky with little sparkly snowflakes throughout it. The formula on both of these polishes is great. They apply smooth and stay put. No pooling or dragging at all.

Saphira is best described as "a navy/deep blue jelly based nail polish loaded with tiny silver holographic flakes and silver holographic hexagon glitters." This one was also opaque in two coats, which was surprising because it was a bit sheer on the first coat. I love blue polish, so I am a huge fan of this one.  The glitter really stands out in the deep blue base and because it's a jelly base it makes some of the glitters look like they are blue and some still look silver. It's very pretty.

I'm very impressed with this brand so far. I don't know if I'll be purchasing more right away because they are a little more pricey than what I typically spend on polish, but the formula is great and the colors are beautiful. piCture pOlish is based out of Australia, so I purchased these from live.love.polish, which is a stockist with polish from around the world. I will purchase from there again, the service was excellent and the polishes arrived promptly and packaged very well.

I'd love to hear what you think of these polishes in the comments below! Which one was your favorite? Also, if you have a favorite piCture pOlish, I'd love to hear about it as well!

  1. I've been watching this brand for years since they were selling ozotic pro and still haven't tried them. You picked out some gorgeous colors! It's hard to choose a favorite but I think I have to go with winter!

  2. These are so gorgeous! I really love Saphira! I only have one Picture Polish, Tiffany, and its pretty much on display in my mani cave so I don't really want to use it. :)

  3. I just bought Winter, but since the shop is off on holiday I won't get it for awhile. I bought a few other colors too. Just FYI, if you're willing to buy 6-8 items at once then its significantly cheaper to buy direct due to the weak AUd and no markup (it all comes out almost by half). For $70 including shipping I got 6 polishes and two tools.

    1. Thank you for letting me know!! I will definitely be checking that out! If I can get them for less, I'd be buying more for sure! :)

    2. I was pretty astonished at the cost difference from LLP which is something like $15/per polish. Including shipping it's less than $8 per item if you get 8 items.

    3. That's much more reasonable! I'll take almost half price polish any time! :)

  8. The price is always what stops me from buying more from this brand too. Though I have to say that Saphira is gorgeous!
