My Very First Indie Polish

Today I have another link up with some great nail bloggers! We're going to be telling you all about our first Indie polishes. All of the other "First Indie" blogs are linked below - make sure you check them out! If you don't know what an Indie polish is - it is a polish that is made by an independent maker, not a large corporation. I really enjoy Indie polishes because of the direct interaction with the makers, the unique polishes and the excellent customer service that typically comes with buying Indie.

Teal blue glitter jelly

My first Indie polish is Pahlish Lonesome Ocean. It is a dark teal jelly base with black, blue, pink and gold glitter in it. It dries matte, but the glitter really stands out with a glossy topcoat. This is three coats of Lonesome Ocean with one coat of HK Girl topcoat. It did cover completely in three coats, but next time I wear it, I think I will put it over a dark blue base. I bought this in 2013 and it still has a good formula and no staining, which I was a bit surprised about because it is such a deep teal shade.

Are you an Indie polish lover? I'd love to hear what your first Indie polish was in the comments below!
