90's Kids Collection from Shinespark Nail Polish

*Press Sample*

Today I have the 90's Kids Collection from Shinespark Nail Polish to show you. This is a set of six neon jelly polishes.

First up is Max Splash. Max Splash is a purple jelly polish. All of these polishes have shimmer in them which, I think, sets them apart from a normal neon jelly collection. It is very pretty and apparent on the nail. All of these swatches are three coats except Ballerina Bunny, which is two coats over white.

Dancing Dolphins is a neon blue jelly polish. All six of these polishes had the same great formula. They applied very smooth on the nail and the consistency was perfect - not too thick or too thin.

Peekaboo is a neon green jelly polish. These polishes are pretty sheer, even with three coats, but that is the nature of jelly polishes. I think these would be great for jelly sandwich manicures or nail art.

Markie is a neon yellow jelly polish. This one made my fingernails look dirty, so I think I would layer this shade over white next time. Other swatches I've seen of this polish don't look like this, so maybe it's just my nails.

Rainbow Chaser is a neon orange jelly polish. This one was the most opaque of the collection for me. I think that if I would've done a fourth coat it would've been totally opaque, but since it is a jelly formula I'm not too concerned about opacity.

Ballerina Bunny is a neon pink jelly polish. I decided to layer this one over white to see how they would look that way. This is so bright! My camera doesn't come close to showing how neon this is. If the sheerness of these polishes bothers you, I suggest wearing them this way. You get the neon jelly color, but it is fully opaque.

I think this is a fantastic collection for Spring! I'm loving these bright shades and the formula on all six of these is great. I'm hoping to have some simple nail art to show you tomorrow using these polishes. You can check out Shinespark Nail Polish here. This collection is available in full and mini sizes and each polish is also available individually in full or mini size.

I'd love to hear what you think of these polishes! What is your favorite way to wear jelly polishes? Let me know in the comments below.

*These polishes were provided at a discount for my honest review. All opinions are my own. Receiving a polish for review does not affect whether I like a polish or not.*

  10. Llve the 90s kid theme since that's whwn I grew up. I wish these were a little more opaque. I'm not a dan of having to layer over white. Love the bit of sparkle they have !

  12. Great review! Lately I've been loving jellies over a glittery base, like over Zoya Cosmo. Game changer!!

  14. Peekaboo is my favorite!! Such a gorgeous collection! I typically like wearing jellies over white or nude, or if they're thin enough, I like doing jelly sandwiches and stampwiches :D

  16. Cool concept Neon Jellies! I'd probably wear them over a white base myself :) I have a "thing" about seeing the waterline in my nail.

    1. I can see why you'd wear them over white. There are definitely a few that I'd prefer to wear that way.

  17. These are so cute, and I love the Lisa Frank inspiration! I'd probably also use a white base. I can't stand VNL. It just drives me bonkers!
