The two items included with the polishes are a 1 oz Remove + (Zoya's fantastic nail polish remover - it's the only one I use) and a Hot Lips lip gloss in the shade Sweet Tart. Zoya describes Sweet Tart as a shimmering purple mauve shade. It's very pretty but not a color that I think really suits me. I will either give it to a friend or put it into an upcoming giveaway!
First up is Violet. Violet is a dusty purple creme polish. One of my IG buddies (@lysha_f - she does great Zoya swatches and combinations) let me know that these have a tendency to flood the cuticle if the excess polish is not wiped from the brush stem before polishing. That being said, I didn't have any application issues while working with these polishes. This one was almost opaque on one coat but I had a couple of light patches so I did two.
Up next is my favorite out of the trio, Temperance. This is a light-meduim grey polish with a beautiful pink shimmer. These pictures are in direct light to show off the shimmer. It is gorgeous combination.
Marion is the last polish in the trio. I'm having a hard time describing her. Definitely duochrome, I see nude to pink shift. I was really surprised that this was opaque in two coats. It was very sheer on the first coat but built up nicely. I do think this would be a great topper to transform other colors, including the other two in the trio.
I really like this Mystery Box. I think the colors are all very pretty and work well together. The mini polishes Zoya sells on their site are $5 and the lip gloss is sold for $6 so it is definitely worth the $15 price tag. I'd love to hear what you think of this Mystery Box!
