Today I have a bit of a different post to share with you. I was sent a body scrub from Adovia to try and I wanted to share my results with you!
I'm always looking for ways to smooth and soften my skin, especially on my hands, so I thought this would be a great product to try out! The product I recieved is the Dead Sea Salt Scrub in the scent Ocean Breeze. You can purchase this scrub here. The scrub comes packaged well. There is a screw on lid and under the lid, when you first get the scrub, is a sealed plastic covering. None of the product leaked out during shipping, whic I appreciated! When I opened the scrub I was surprised to find a layer of oil on top of the scrub. It's important to be careful when you open it so you don't spill the oil all over. It could potentially cause a slippery mess if you aren't careful.
You can see the layer of oil on top here. |
I mixed it together with my hands and then rubbed it in circular motions on my arms like the directions state. I did need to rinse a bit longer than I usually do to get all of the scrub off, but I think that's pretty normal. It was not too abrasive, which is important to me because I have sensitive skin.
Once I rinsed the scrub off, I could tell right away that I had immediate results. My skin was so soft and very smooth! I found that I didn't even need to use any lotion after using this scrub because it is so moisturizing and hydrating. The only problem I had with it was the scent. It was very overpowering to me. It is a clean scent, which normally I really like, but it was just too strong for me. My husband and son, however, thought the scent was very nice. I think if stronger scents don't bother you, this is a wonderful product! It definitely does everything it claims to do. Is this a product you would use? I'd love to hear what you think in the comments below! I'll be back tomorrow with a very special post! :0)
*This product was sent to me for review. My opinions are honest and 100% my own. Receiving a product for review does not affect whether I like it or not.*
