Shinespark Polish The Light, The Heat Collection - Part 1 Thermals

*Press Sample*

Today I have the first half of The Light, The Heat - a new collection from Shinespark Polish. I'm really excited to show this collection to you. Half of the polishes in this collection are thermals and half are photochromic (meaning they react to sunlight or the lack of sunlight.) This collection is going to be released on April 29th at 10:00 am CDT. The set of polishes I have to show you today are the thermals. This is my first time working with thermal polishes so it was really interesting and fun to do the swatches for this post. All of the swatches are three coats with topcoat. The first picture in each swatch shows what the polish looks like after it dries on my nails without any temperature manipulation.

The first polish I have to show you is Tiger's Eye. That name fits this polish perfectly. The color shift in this polish is very reminiscent of a Tiger's Eye jewel. It shifts from a light peachy gold when warm to a warm brown shimmer when cold.

Index and middle (cold), Ring and pinky (warm)

The next polish in this collection is Purple Martin. This polish shifts from a light pinkish purple when warm to a darker bluish purple when cold. It has a beautiful blue-green shimmer that shows up no matter where the polish is in it's transition.

Up next is Hummingbird. It is a green polish that shifts from light when warm to a dark, almost grass green when cold. This one was one of my favorites from this collection.

Dusk has the biggest transition out of all of these polishes, I think. When warm it is a medium pink color and when cold it is a deep bluish purple color. There is a really nice purple shimmer running throughout this polish. I really like Dusk, it looked so pretty, with the free edge of my nail purple and the rest pink.

The last polish in this half of the collection is my favorite. It is Peacock. It transitions from a light turquoise to a deep teal color. It is just stunning! I left this one for last so I could wear it as my manicure for the day. I found myself holding my nails up to my cold drinks to make the polish transition between the two colors. I just couldn't help myself. It is so pretty!

And a direct light shot because this is so gorgeous!

The formula on all of these polishes is really good! They were not too thick or thin and they were so smooth when I applied them. Again, this collection will release on April 29th at 10:00 am CDT. This collection will be sold as full sets, half sets (either photochromic or thermal) and as individuals. All of the polishes and sets will be available as full size or mini size polishes. I will have the sun changing polishes to show you as soon as the weather cooperates. I would love to hear what you think of these polishes and which one is your favorite in the comments below!
