ellagee - Some Gave All

Today's patriotic polish is ellagee's Some Gave All. It is a glitter polish that can be used as a topper or it can be built up to full coverage on it's own, which is how I'm going to show it to you today.

Some Gave All is a clear based glitter polish with a combination of red, silver and blue mini hexes and stars with silver holo micro glitter throughout it. The formula is good, I used three coats (with topcoat) for full opacity. Some polishes like this can end up being thick on the nail because of the clear base, but this isn't like that at all. There is a good ratio of glitter to base.

In the macro picture it looks like you can see my nail line, but I can assure you that it looks fully opaque in person. I think this would look great as a topper over white, blue or red as well. If you did one coat you'd have nice coverage for a topper.

Some Gave All is available now on ellagee's website here. She is releasing a new collection inspired by Orange is the New Black and a fun LE Unicorn duo with Digital Nails tomorrow (6/26 at 6pm CST), which I am definitely going to try to get. It's so cute! You can check out previews of all of the new polish on her Instagram here or Facebook here

Let me know what you think of Some Gave All in the comments below. Would you use it as a topper or on it's own?
